We finally got a chance to survey the damage from the unseasonably early snow, most of which has already melted away. We’re not set up for winter growing, so most of our low-tunnel row covers collapsed from the snow loads.
Despite being smothered with several inches of snow for a week I was still able to do a final harvest of radishes and carrots. Unfortunately the burrowing rodents beat me to the carrots so there wasn’t much left. Several beds of beets, lettuce, spinach, and broccoli still look robust so I’ll let them keep growing until they can’t grow anymore.
